Prof Eghagha, Onoharigho, Ekele Emerge Zik Grammar School Alumni Leaders
Professor Hope Eghagha and Cdr Austin Ekele have emerged President and Secretary of the alumni association of Zik Grammar School respectively.
Founded in 1943 by the late Chief Festus Okotie-Eboh as Ziks College of Commerce, it later became Ziks Academy until it was renamed Zik Grammar School.
The school which remains one of the oldest schools in Sapele, Delta State at its’ recent alumni association meeting elected Professor Hope Eghagha as President, Capt (Dr.) Tony Onoharigho, as Vice-President, Cdr Austin Ekele, Secretary, Mrs Julie Omayone as Assistant Secretary and Mrs. Esther Ararhire as Treasurer
Others elected were Mr.Paul Ogagarue, PRO, Dr. (Mrs) Patience Turtoe-Saunders as Director of Mobilisation, Pastor Augustine Okoro, Financial Secretary, Mrs Marian Igogori, Welfare Officer and
-Rtn. Victor Okotie as Internal Auditor.
Professor Hope Eghagha, the new Alumni President is a renowned Professor in the University of Lagos. The Vice president, Capt (Dr.) Tony Onoharigho, who holds a PhD in Geography is equally a renowned Merchant Mariner, ship Captain and trainer of seafarers in Nigeria and beyond while the new Secretary of the alumni, Deacon Austin Ekele has served in 15 Commands of the FRSC Nationwide and in various Departments until his appointment as Commander
