Chief Mrs Justina Ahwi: A Woman of Substance at 60
She is in every inch a true African woman, an amazing personality and compatriot from Urhobo land, the fifth ethnic tribe in Nigeria. Even as she enters the fifth floor, she remains quintessentially beautiful, elegant, coordintated, articulate, and her looks belie her age. No wonder her husband, Chief Vincent Ahwi, OSU R Urhobo in Lagos,( Leader of Urhobos in Lagos) and other prominent Nigerians gathered to celebrate the wife, Chief Mrs Justina Awiatode Ahwi at St Peter Catholic Church, Idimu, Ejigbo, Lagos recently.

Her husband, Chief Ahwi describes her as a woman of impeccable character, a jewel, a home builder, a woman of virtue, caring and an inspiration to people who come in contact with her. Above all, Chief Ahwi describes the wife as very supportive, as well as an outstanding pilar of his achievements and God fearing
Indeed, this is to be expected of Chief Mrs. Justina Ahwi as his grandfather, late Chief Hon. Jessa E. Ogboru was not only a member representing the then Western Urhobo in the then Western House of Assembly, Ibadan in 1940s was a disciplinarian while her grandmother, late Mrs. Oghenekohwo nee Ogbore, a trader, Odumere Quarters, Oriah-Abraka, was equally a no nonse person who brought up her children and grand children on the path of godliness.
Mrs Ahwi’s father, who is currently the head of the Ogboru family and a community leader is equally a no nonsense personality being a retired vice principal of the popular St. Peter Claver’s College, Aghalokpe in 1992.
Certainly for Chief Mrs. Justina Ahwi, the joy of seeing her children and grandchildren and all those she has groomed over the years remains evergreen and made her share tears of joy as people gathered from far and wide to celebrate her.
