If all things work according to postulations of Rev Prophet Robinson Oritsuwa, former federal Commissioner of Nigerian Christians Pilgrimage Commission, NCPC representing South South zone and current President/General Overseer, Deliverance Gospel Mission, DGM, the Nigerian economy may be out of the woods if the right things are done. Rev Prophet Oritsuwara said he got a revelation that if both the spiritual leaders of the country can join hands with the political leaders to address the nation’s economic and spiritual problems, the hunger that is causing devastation in the life of the citizens will be greatly addressed.
Rev Prophet Robinson Oritsuwa, who noted that the economies of many nations have been on the downward thrend after the COVID-19 epidemic, and are struggling to get their economies back. But in the case of Nigeria, the highly respected Prophet noted that the first thing to do is to provide the citizens with agricultural loan just as students loan has been made available. Such incentives will make many people return to farm. Besides he advocated for a minimum of five years tax holiday as well as import duty waiver for big time farmers who import agricultural equipments. He also advised the federal government to recruit forest and farm guards across the 774 local government areas in Nigeria to help protect farmers in the farms. He equally advised the federal government to establish reserve centres in each state of the federation where food items can be stored from where they can be taken to different markets to control the price of foodstuffs.
He equally asked the federal government to give waivers and tax holiday to cement producers so that the price of cement and other building materials can come down drastically. Once the price of foodstuffs, housing, education and transportation are addressed, coupled with the provision of good roads and good governance, things will be easier, Oritsuwa noted.
On the spiritual side, Oritsuwa noted that many innocent Nigerians who were killed before their time were crying to God and their blood have brought reproach to the land.
“During the first Republic leaders who meant well for the country were killed unjustly. As if that was not enough we brought all the gods in this world and gathered them at FESTAC in 1977. That was a reproach to the land. Go and check, you will discover that instead of measuring economically with the Asian Tigers that were at par with our country, things began to go down in the 80s until we are where we now are. There is a need for our leaders at the top to call for national repentance in order for God to heal the land and change our story as he did to the Israelites many centuries ago”; Rev Prophet Oritsuwara stated.
He therefore called on Political leaders to organize clerics who are prepared to stand in the gap to pray for God to heal the hand and forgive the people of their sins.
Oritsuwara is optimistic that if the recommendation is followed through, it will take Nigeria out of the woods and birth massive economic growth. But whether the government will listen to the Prophet is another thing all together. For now, the man of God has spoken.
